Privacy Policy — BRB (Texts From Past You)

BRB is made by Normie Labs. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app.

What stays on your device

Every message you write in BRB, and every setting you choose, is stored only in local storage on your own device. BRB does not use accounts, logins, or cloud sync, and nothing you write is sent to a server. If you delete the app or your device, that content is gone with it — Normie Labs has no way to recover it.

Notifications

BRB schedules local notifications on your device to let you know when a sealed message has arrived. These are generated entirely on-device and are never routed through a third-party push notification service. Notification alerts never contain the message itself — only that one has arrived.

Purchases

The one-time BRB unlock is processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Normie Labs does not see, receive, or store your payment details — that information is handled by Apple under Apple’s own privacy policy.

Analytics and tracking

BRB does not currently use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking services of any kind.

Children’s privacy

BRB does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because BRB does not collect information at all — everything stays on-device as described above.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the update will be posted here with a new “last updated” date above.
